Doers Project #1: Maggie Germano on Finances, Women Empowerment & Entrepreneurship
Maggie Germano is a feminist and Financial Coach for womxn. I had the opportunity to film her in March last year, and she agreed to be interviewed for my series #DoersProject — and today I’m finally releasing the first episode of this monthly series with female founders sharing their business journey and mission.
Besides being a badass boss, Maggie is also a public speaker, a podcast host, and the founder and host of Money Circle, a monthly meetup to discuss women empowerment and getting your money right.
On this interview I asked Maggie how she decided to start her own business, the challenges of being an entrepreneur, finances, freedom, and what it means to live life on your terms. Check it out:
Minutes:
0:31 — what inspired her to start her own business;
1:34 — the challenges of being an entrepreneur;
3:42 — what freedom means to her;
4:29 — the connection between money and freedom;
5:42 — why money is a tool for women’s empowerment;
6:23 — 3 tips to get our money right;
8:03 — what it means to “live life on your own terms”
8:46 — if she would say she’s living life on her own terms.
I hope you enjoy this first episode of #DoersProject. For more info on Maggie Germano, click here. And check out Maggie’s story by Red Skirt Media here.
