“Hang out with me.
Become the doer you’re meant to be.”

- The Red Skirt Girl

About Doers Project

I wanted to start this since 2015, my first official year as an entrepreneur. Back then, being “a girl boss” wasn’t as popular (what a difference a few years can make nowadays!), and I was making moves as a Professional Organizer, dreaming of being a mentor. I got a lot of questions on why having a business, and how to do it. I was getting inspired by inpiring others, and I had this idea of starting a series of conversations, create content about women in business.

Almost 5 years later, here I am (better late than never) starting this.

The name came to me in 2016, because I thought “doer” was so cool and fresh. And because I have this gift of making people start. move forward. become a doer.

Here on this page, you’ll find everything about this project. Including the monthly series of interview I’m producing in 2020 + The series of live conversations (Doers Talks). Scroll down and don’t forget to sign up.

#DoersProject Interviews

#1: Maggie Germano

Besides being a badass boss, Maggie is also a public speaker, a podcast host, and the founder and host of Money Circle, a monthly meetup to discuss women empowerment and getting your money right.

On this interview I asked Maggie how she decided to start her own business, the challenges of being an entrepreneur, finances, freedom, and what it means to live life on your terms.

#2: Vanessa | Antigua Cosmetics

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

#3: Rowena | Eat 2 Explore

Rowena is the founder and CEO of Eat 2 Explore. She started it for her own kids, and soon realized she could share the idea with the world and make it a business. In Malaysia, where she was born and raised, she said that she would cook with her family all the time, which is something we don’t see much here in America. So Eat 2 Explore is a way to “come together as a family over the 3 Cs: Country, Culture & Cuisine.”
